Everyday work

AI assistants

Connect Claude or ChatGPT and plan, write and schedule posts by asking.

Plan posts by asking #

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to Zapket and ask for what you need in your own words. It writes the posts, adds the artwork and puts them on the calendar, then tells you what it did with a link to each post.

Things you can ask

  • "Plan next week's posts for Lotus Tea: one a day at 6 pm, Instagram and Facebook."
  • "Add this photo to Kanha Sweets and make a Diwali post with it for Saturday morning."
  • "What's on the calendar for Meera Salon this month?"
  • "Move Friday's post to 7 pm."
  • "Rewrite the caption of tomorrow's post to sound warmer, then send it for approval."
  • "Which posts didn't go out this week, and why?"
  • "How did Atal Solar do last month?"
  • "Any comments I haven't answered?"
  • "Approve Kanha's posts for this week."

Good to know

AI assistants are for the agency team: admins, managers and team members. Clients keep reviewing their posts on their own Zapket page.

Connect your assistant #

You need the address from your account. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Your account, and find AI assistants, and copy the address. It is the same for everyone: https://social.zapket.app/mcp

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, give it a name like Zapket, and paste the address.
  3. Choose Connect. Zapket opens: sign in if it asks, then choose Connect again.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and connectors.
  2. Choose Create, paste the address, and pick OAuth for sign-in.
  3. Zapket opens: sign in if it asks, then choose Connect.

Other assistants that support MCP connectors, such as Claude Desktop or Cursor, work the same way: add a connector with the address, and approve it when Zapket asks.

Each person connects their own

The assistant works as whoever connected it. If two people on your team want one, each connects their own from their own account.

What it can and can't do #

The assistant has exactly your permissions, no more. It sees the clients you work on, and a post it writes goes through the same approvals as one you write yourself.

It can

  • See your clients, their accounts and their calendars
  • Add photos and videos to a client's library from a link
  • Write posts, change them and move them
  • Send posts for approval, or onto the calendar where the client needs no approval
  • Delete posts that haven't gone out
  • Publish a post straight away when you say yes, if you're an admin or manager
  • Tell you how a client did over any period, with the client report's link
  • Show comments, reviews and messages waiting for an answer, and reply when you say yes
  • Approve posts or send them back with a note, if you can in the app
  • Send a post that didn't go out again

It can't

  • Publish or reply without asking you first
  • Record a client's approval without you saying how they gave it
  • Publish straight away for team members: like in Zapket, only admins and managers can
  • Delete a post that is already live
  • See clients you don't work on, or another agency's
  • Change settings, team members, plans or billing

Times are read in the client's own timezone, the way the calendar shows them. Before saving, it checks what each network would refuse, such as a caption that's too long or an Instagram post without a photo, and fixes the post or asks you.

Giving it artwork and a month of posts #

You can hand the assistant photos, videos, a .zip of a month's artwork, and a sheet of posts (.xlsx or .csv), all at once. Photos and videos go into the client's library, a zip is unpacked into it, and the sheet becomes posts. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4 and MOV work, up to 250 MB each.

In ChatGPT

Attach the files to your message with the paperclip, and say what they're for: "Here's Atal Solar's November artwork and the plan."

In Claude and others

Ask for an upload link: "Give me a link to upload Atal Solar's files." Open it, drop the files, then tell the assistant they're in. The link works for an hour, only for you.

A month from one sheet

  1. Fill in the same sheet the bulk upload uses: one post per row, with date, time, caption, networks and media (the photo's file name).
  2. Send the sheet with the artwork. Keep the file names as they are: that's how each row finds its photo.
  3. The assistant shows you what each row becomes, and which rows have a problem, before it creates anything.
  4. Say go, and it creates them as drafts, or sends them for approval if you ask.

A link to a file works too, when it opens the file itself: one ending in .jpg, .mp4 or .zip, or a direct download link. Artwork already in the library is found by name: "use the photo called diwali-offer".

Shared folder links

A Google Drive or Dropbox share link usually opens a page that shows the file, not the file itself. Download the files and attach them, or use an upload link.

Disconnecting #

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Your account, find AI assistants, and choose Disconnect next to it. It stops working straight away. To use it again, connect it again.

If someone leaves your agency, deactivating their account stops their assistant too.

If something isn't working #

  • It can't find a client. You're not on that client's team. An admin can add you from the client's settings.
  • It says the time is too close. Posts need a time at least 5 minutes ahead. Give it a later time.
  • It can't post to an account. The account needs reconnecting. Reconnect it from the client's accounts page, then ask again.
  • It couldn't add a photo. The link opens a page, not the file. See Giving it artwork.
  • It says you can't connect. Your account or your agency's plan is paused. An admin can check Plan and billing.
